Always a big question when visiting a church for the first time. So what does the church attire look like at The Master's House? First off, any modest apparel is welcome and we want all to feel comfortable no matter if you are in a T-shirt or a 5-piece suit.
On the platform, you will see the ladies in a dress and men in a suit. Currently, in the congregation, you will see most men in a suit or dress slacks with a button-up shirt and the women will be in a dress, dress pants & blouse or skirt & blouse.
No matter what your Sunday attire is, know that you are welcomed and that The Master's House is a church of love!
Our sermons are strictly based on the Bible. We believe that it is not in man's wisdom but as Paul told Timothy, it is in the demonstration of Spirit and power. (1 Cor 2:4)
The message may be delivered by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Paul G. Kiggins or one of our Associate Pastors.
At the start of the preaching, our Children's Church begins. Children's church is a fun program for kids between 3 and 12 years of age that partake in many different types of Bible-based activities.
Yes, following the preaching, we usually will have an altar service. An altar service is our time to bring our needs/petitions before God, gather the elders (our Pastors) and lay hands on the sick. We gather around the altar and we lift our hands in worship, we bow our heads in prayer to commune with God, we reach out our faith for others and their needs and we simply enjoy the presence of God. Where the presence of God is, there is love, joy, and peace and this can be felt all throughout our services. We know that you will be blessed!
God is One
We believe that God is one. There are not many gods but there is one Sovereign God that created all things. He has no beginning and no end. He is God alone.
Jesus left us specific instructions to enter into His kingdom when He returns. He told us to repent and be born again of the water and the Spirit.
Jesus is God
Some 2,000+ years ago, God was manifested in the flesh. Meaning He took on the fullness of human nature, however, He remained the 1 supreme being of God.
The Holy Ghost
The Holy Ghost was poured out to the Apostles on the day of Pentecost and that same promise of the Comforter is still prevalent in the 21st century.
The Bible is the supreme, authoritative, Spirit-inspired Word of God. It was given to all mankind to know who God is and His purpose for us on this earth.
The 2nd Coming
Jesus promised that He would return (for the 2nd time) and gather up the saints so we can be with Him forever in His kingdom. We believe that day is approaching.
God sent Himself in the form of a man to take upon the wages of sin for all mankind. By the shedding of His blood, we have redemption.
