Going to to church provides fellowship that the world cannot give to you. It provides an opportunity to praise and worship God with song, and, with the sermon. But, the best reason for going to church is to remember; "The Lord has something to say to me, and I'm not going to miss it"!

It really means a lot to me. The routine of the world can be punishing at times. But when we can gather together in one mind and one accord, it is so precious to worship our Lord in Spirit and truth. We can get our "spiritual" gas tank filled up and ready for another run at the challenges before us.

Hebrews 10 says not to forsake the assembling of yourselves together. I know that I draw much strength from those I no care for and pray for me. It's very difficult to do that when you're alone.

Showing up to church is the best time of the week for me. There is a refreshing of God's Spirit that I feel that gives me the endurance to walk the walk for the next 6 days...it gives me a better attitude for the week and for life in general. Also, I need to hear the preached word of God, because how can I "hear" without a preacher

It’s the closest thing to heaven on earth. The music to till the ground and prepare my heart for the word and the freedom to worship the Lord. I love Gods people and the love we share as a congregation.

It is so very important to be in the House of the Lord every time the doors are open. There is nothing like being in the midst of God's children and feeling His spirit in a way that cannot be compared to watching through a monitor or tv. We need the Lord and each and other and need that fellowship and the hearing of God's word.

Church is important to me because we are all members of the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though we be many members we are one body (1 Corinthians 12). We all need each other in the body for the body to be healthy. The Body of Christ is the Church and anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is a member of His Body. As the Apostle Paul writes further in 1 Corinthians 12, whether we be a hand, a foot, an eye, ear, mouth or nose, none of the Body can say I have no need of you. Each of us is so important to the functioning of the body and in advancing the Kingdom of God. I am so blessed to be a part of this body, and the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ.
