Living Uncomfortably

Living Uncomfortably

Living by faith is not always easy. It requires stepping out of our comfort zones and trusting in something greater than ourselves. The Bible tells us that the just shall live by faith, and this means taking risks, facing challenges, and embracing discomfort in order to follow God's plan for our lives. In this sermon, we will explore why living uncomfortable is essential for a life of faith and purpose.

The Just Shall Live By Faith

When we stay within our comfort zones, we limit ourselves and miss out on the opportunities that God has in store for us. Stepping out in faith requires courage, vulnerability, and trust in the unknown. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but it is through these moments of discomfort that we grow and learn to rely on God's strength rather than our own.

Walking by faith on a daily basis means surrendering control and allowing God to lead us down paths that may be unfamiliar or challenging. This can be scary, but it is also incredibly liberating. When we release our need for security and stability, we open ourselves up to new experiences, relationships, and blessings that we never could have imagined.

Embracing discomfort also allows us to develop empathy and compassion for others who are struggling or facing challenges of their own. When we step out of our comfort zones and walk by faith, we become more attuned to the needs of those around us and are better able to offer support, encouragement, and love to those who need it most.

The Gospel Message

The Lord Jesus Christ is alive and well today, and able to do all things. All power is given Him, and through His name, we are forgiven, and through the shedding of His blood our sins are remitted, and that His Word stands as true today as it did 2000 years ago. Repentance of one's sins, water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and being baptized with the Holy Ghost is His divine specific plan of salvation.
